March Events on the Gold Coast Gold Coast T100 Triathlon When: 21 March 2026 Where: Various locations across the Gold Coast What to expect / the vibe: The T100 Triathlon brings some seriously fit humans to town, with swimming, cycling and running happening along our coastline. Festival of Golf When: 19 - 22 March 2026 Where: Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club What to expect / the vibe: The Festival of Golf runs over four days at Sanctuary Cove and it’s not just for the golf lovers. Yes, there’s championship golf happening, but there is plenty of food, pop up bars, live music and interactive zones to wander through. Movies on the Esplanade When: Sunday, 1 March 2026 | 7:00 PM (and every Sunday throughout February & March) Where: Surfers Paradise Esplanade What to expect / the vibe: Free movie nights right by the ocean? Yes please. Movies on the Esplanade is a relaxed, free community event where you can grab dinner from a nearby restaurant, bring a picnic rug, and settle in for a movie under the stars. It’s the perfect low key Sunday activity for families, couples or groups of friends wanting an easy night out by the beach. Gold Coast Markets to Visit in March If there’s one thing the Gold Coast does well year round, it’s markets. Whether you’re hunting for vintage goods or picking up fresh local produce, there’s always a weekend option to choose from. The Village Markets When: 1st & 3rd Sunday of the month, 8am – 1pm Where: Burleigh Heads State School The vibe: Ever wanted to shop inside an influencer’s wardrobe? The Village Markets are known for their incredible range of preloved fashion, local labels, unique gifts and food stalls. A must visit for the bargain hunters! Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets When: Every Wednesday, Friday & Saturday from 4pm Where: The Foreshore, Surfers Paradise The vibe: The classic Gold Coast beach markets, wander through stalls of local brands, handmade goods and sweet treats. Broadbeach Art & Craft Markets When: 1st & 3rd Sunday of the month, 8am – 2pm Where: Pratten Park, Old Burleigh Road, Broadbeach The vibe: One of the most popular family friendly markets on the Gold Coast. Expect handmade art, jewellery, gifts, local designers and plenty of food options! HOTA Farmers & Artisan Markets When: Every Sunday, 6am – 11:30am Where: 135 Bundall Road, Surfers Paradise The vibe: Fresh produce, artisan goods, live music and a wholesome Sunday morning atmosphere.
